This Traditional Japanese knife is best used for cutting Chicken, fish herbs and vegetables. It is a hybrid of the Yanagiba (raw fish slicer for sashimi) and the Usuba (Japanese-style vegetable knife). This versatile knife features a long blade like a Yanagiba and a straight cutting edge like an Usuba

The handles are made out of a honeycomb and resin material. The red stripe brings the eye directly to the handle and divides the honeycomb and the black and white tempest swirl of the resin at the bottom of the handle. You will also notice a geometric mosaic pin in the handle and this features just tops off one of my favorite scale sets used on our knives.  These handles are extremely stable. They are attached with 2 standard pins and one intricate mosaic pin. These Highly polished knives will look great in your kitchen.
